Environmental Conditions
Przelewice lie on the ground moraine. The annual temperature amplitude is lower than in other districts of Poland. For Przelewice it is 19,2 C. Environmental conditions of the garden differ according to the area of the park. In the Moors, Mary Augustyna’s path and Rose Alley shadows cast by overgrown trees and shrubs together with bad climate conditions are partly the reasons for extinction of crosses-leaved heaths and Scotch heathers planted by Conrad Borsig. In the spring area iron rich soils of high Ph combined with high degree of shadow naturally limit the number of plant species growing in this corner of the park.
